Jeremy Denk Jeremy Denk holds a degree in music from the Oberlin Conservatory, a master's degree from Indiana University, and a doctorate in piano performance from the Juilliard School. A 1998 recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and winner of the 1997 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, he made his debut with the SFS last fall, in a program devoted to Mozart. This season Mr. Denk also made debuts with the Saint Louis and Houston symphony orchestras, and he made his Carnegie Hall debut with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. He has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, and London Philharmonia, has appeared in recital with violinist Joshua Bell, and collaborated with the Borromeo, Brentano, Saint Lawrence, Colorado, and Shanghai string quartets. A faculty member at the Bard College Conservatory of Music, he has been a featured artist-in-residence on NPR's Performance Today.
