Help the Festival :: Make new friends :: Support the arts

Volunteers are a valuable part of Stern Grove Festival. Individuals, groups and families help at every concert by collecting donations, handing out programs, assisting with seating, and performing other tasks.

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. The first shifts begin at 8:00 a.m. and the last shifts end one hour after the concert. You can pick the time that works best for you.

In appreciation for your time and effort, you will receive special seating and complimentary beverages and snacks.

Group Volunteering

If you are interested in organizing a group of 10 or more volunteers, please call at least two weeks before the concert you wish to attend to coordinate your group time and assignments. Please note that due to limited capacity, we cannot accommodate every group for each show. Please have a back-up show that that would work for your group.

Corporate Volunteer Teams

Stern Grove Festival welcomes corporate volunteer teams. Over the years, teams from Accenture, Target, Marriott, and more have volunteered with the Festival. It's a fun day out and a great team-building opportunity. Contact us for more information.
