One Right Turn One Right Turn is Hawaii’s
latest musical debut consisting of Cruz sisters Tiffany and Connie, and
Tiffany’s husband and former lead singer of the famous Opihi Pickers, Imua
Garza. All three are accomplished musicians, and One Right Turn promises to be
an exciting new collaboration.
Tiffa Garza has been writing sings since the age of 8, and has played guitar since the age of 12. In 2006, she recorded an album with former band, The Girlas. Connie Cruz is known as half of the famous duet with her father Ernie Cruz, Sr. Connie appeared as part of The Girlas, and is an accomplished songwriter and singer. Imua Garza debuted at the age of 11 on the 1996 album Hidden Treasures – Ukulele Stylings 2, featuring Hawaii’s most promising ukulele players. Shortly after, Imua began playing in his first music group, the Opihi Pickers, one of Hawaii’s most beloved bands with several radio hits to their name. One Right Turn sat in with John Cruz and Jack Johnson at the 2007 Kokua Festival in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is currently in the studio, set to release their debut album in September, along with solo albums for each member.
