Kids Days

Concert Shift Times

Select the time you want to work:

All Day (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
Morning Only (8 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
Late Morning (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
Midday (10 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
Pre-Concert (12 - 2 p.m.)
All Afternoon (12 - 5 p.m.)
Post-Concert (4 - 6 p.m.)
Intermission Only (30 minutes, approximately 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.)

Note: All attending volunteers are asked to work for 30 minutes collecting donations either during intermission or immediately after the performance. Please sign up for your time and preferred area when you check-in.

Concert Jobs

When you arrive at Stern Grove, please check in at the Information/Volunteer Booth, located at the Northeast entrance to the concert meadow. You will be given your assignment at that time. To help us give you an appropriate assignment, please rank the following duties according to your preferences.

Donations - Solicit donations from individuals and small groups before the concerts.
Entrances - Hand out programs, encourage patrons to make donations, provide general information.
Bike Valet - assist with the Festival's on-site bike valet service.
Usher - Assist patrons in finding appropriate seating in concert meadow.
Tables - Help set up and monitor picnic tables; greet and check-in guests.
Ancillary Events - Set up and staff smaller events throughout the day, such as pre-concert talks or CD signings)
Info Booth - Assist general public, welcome and assign volunteers (limited to 4 people/shift)
KidStage - assist with hand-on arts programs and activities in the West Meadow
Post-Concert Breakdown - assist with breaking down booths and cleaning up VIP area after the concert
