RESERVATIONS

Free General Admission Reservations are required for entry

Reserve tickets 1 month prior to show date here

If you can’t get tickets when reservations open, keep checking back on Eventbrite as we will continue releasing tickets up until the show day.

Limit of 4 tickets per reservation

Children 2 years and up require a reservation

Only reserve FREE tickets from our official Eventbrite pages. Stern Grove Festival reserves the right to refuse entry for tickets purchased from un-authorized 3rd party resellers (individuals or brokers)

All General Admission reservations are made ONLINE ONLY.

  • This includes Senior and ADA seating areas which are first-come, first-served once you enter the festival and available for you + 1 guest.

  • To request space in the wheelchair seating area, click “YES” when promoted “Do you require wheelchair access?” in Eventbrite.

    • Please note this does NOT guarantee a wheelchair spot.

    • A member of the reservation team will email you the Tuesday before the show date.

    • Please respond to the email in a timely matter as the wheelchair spots are guaranteed by the first email confirmations we receive.

    • There are a limited amount of wheelchair space and we apologize we can’t accommodate everyone.

    • Wheelchair spots include you and up to 3 guests.

VENUE SEATING IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED: In the event the venue reaches capacity, Stern Grove Festival reserves the right to discontinue entry even if you have a ticket.

GETTING TO THE GROVE

LOCATION

Stern Grove Festival is held in Sigmund Stern Grove at the Corner of 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco, CA 94132

 

Patrons are encouraged to use public transportation, bikes, or walk to the festival. Parking is limited.

MUNI: Muni Metro: take lines M Ocean View or the K Ingleside and exit at the St. Francis Circle stop. Walk West one block to the park entrance at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.

Muni Bus:

Lines 23-Monterey and 28-19th Avenue stop right at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.

BART

BART to Civic Center and transfer to Muni Metro M Ocean View or the K Ingleside

BART to Glen Park Station and transfer to MUNI bus 23-Monterey

BART to Daly City and transfer to MUNI bus 28-19th Avenue

Entrances

The Festival has three General Admission Entrances:

  • 19th & Sloat Boulevard

  • Vale Avenue

  • 23rd & Wawona Street

Entrances open at 12:00 PM

Free and secure bike parking is available at the 19th & Sloat Entrance.

ADA Parking is available first-come-first serve along the north side of Sloat Boulevard.

There is extremely limited parking in the neighborhood. Please do not park in or block the driveways of our neighbors.

Shuttle

Shuttle service is available for Seniors and those requiring ADA Accommodations + one companion.

It is located at the 19th and Sloat Entrance and is available from 12:00 - 5:30 PM

Security Search and Ticket Scanning

In an effort to maintain the safety and security of patrons and staff your person and belongings are subject to metal detecting and bag search conducted by our Safety Team.

Please review our list of "What to bring and what not to bring" before arrival. After completing the search, each attendee will then have their ticket scanned by our Reservation Team.

Once You Are Here

SEATING AREAS

The Festival has three general admission seating areas. All areas are first-come, first served.

  • Concert Meadow

  • West Meadow

  • Hillside

Amenities & Activties

Bathrooms, food and beverages, water bottle refilling stations, first aid, and staff are located throughout the Festival grounds.

Pre-show activities vary through the season and are posted on our “Todays’ Activities list” in various locations.

You are welcome to bring your own picnics and beverages. Alcohol is not sold at Stern Grove Festival. Help reduce waste and keep our park beautiful by bringing reusable food containers and water bottles.

Leave no trace! Leave the park better than you found it! Thanks!

Smoking is prohibited at Stern Grove Festival.

Accessibility

Stern Grove Festival is Wheelchair, ADA and Senior (65+) accessible.

  • NEW THIS YEAR: All attendees requiring Wheelchair, ADA, or Senior accommodations must have a General Admission ticket to attend.

  • Wheelchair Seating Area: To request space in the wheelchair seating area, click “YES” when promoted “Do you require wheelchair access?” in Eventbrite.

    • Please note this does NOT guarantee a wheelchair spot.

    • A member of the reservation team will email you the Tuesday before the show date.

      • Please respond to the email in a timely matter as the wheelchair spots are guaranteed by the first email confirmations we receive.

        • You will receive a confirmation email from our Reservation Staff if we can accommodate your request.

        • If not, we will also send you an email.

    • There are a limited amount of wheelchair spaces and we apologize we can’t accommodate everyone.

    • Wheelchair spots include you and up to 3 guests.

    • If we are not able to fulfill your wheelchair request, we will provide our alternative accessibility option which is our ADA Seating Area.

    • We appreciate your understanding as we try to accommodate as many wheelchair requests as possible.

  • ADA and Senior seating areas are first-come-first-serve once you are inside the Festival and available for 1 guest and 1 companion

SHUTTLE

Shuttle service is available for Wheelchair users, those requiring ADA accommodations, and seniors only.

  • Round trip shuttle service is from the 19th and Sloat Entrance.

  • Shuttle hours: 12:00 - 5:30 PM

Seating

WHEELCHAIR SEATING AREA

  • There are reserved ADA compliant wheelchair seating areas available inside the Concert Meadow.

  • Please see a member of staff for assistance locating these areas.

  • You must receive confirmation from our Reservation team to secure a wheelchair seating spot.

  • Wheelchair spaces include you and up to 3 guests.

  • Access to these spaces is a short distance from the Shuttle drop-off area.

  • If we are not able to fulfill your wheelchair request, we will provide our alternative accessibility option which is our ADA Seating Area.

ADA SEATING AREA

  • The Festival has a first-come, first-served seating area inside the Concert Meadow for those requiring ADA Accommodations but are not using a wheelchair.

  • Guests and one companion are invited to sit in these areas.

  • Please see a member of staff for assistance locating this area.

SENIOR SEATING AREA

  • Seniors and 1 companion are welcome to sit first-come, first-served in our Senior Seating Area located inside the Concert Meadow.

REQUESTING ACCOMMODATION

  • The Festival is committed to doing the most good for the most people and will attempt to accommodate reasonable access requests as much as possible.

It’s our opinion that all you really need to enjoy yourself is some good friends & family, something comfortable to sit on, and some food and beverages (we will take care of the entertainment). Here is a list of what’s allowed and what’s not.

lost & Found

Lost and found items are stored at the backstage right gate near the Esplanade during Sunday concerts.

PHOTO POLICY

By entering an event or program of Stern Grove Festival, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
