Accessibility (aDA)

Stern Grove Festival is Wheelchair, ADA and Senior (65+) accessible.

All attendees requiring Wheelchair, ADA, or Senior accommodations must have a General Admission ticket to attend. Please see below for more information.

  • We have extremely limited capacity in our wheelchair seating section. Due to this, reservations are required to ensure comfort and mobility for each wheelchair user and their guest. Because of this, we can NOT guarantee a spot for every person who requests a space.

    • Wheelchair spots include you and up to 3 guests.

    • There is a shuttle which takes you from street level to the concert meadow level.


    HOW TO RESERVE A WHEELCHAIR SPOT

    When entering the free ticket lottery you will be asked “Do you require wheelchair access?“ Click “YES” to request your spot.

    NOTE: This does NOT guarantee a wheelchair spot.

    We accommodate requests via a wheelchair only lottery. If you win you will receive confirmation 4 weeks before the concert.

  • The Festival has a first-come, first-served seating area inside the Concert Meadow for those requiring ADA Accommodations but are not using a wheelchair.

    • Guests and one companion are invited to sit in these areas.

    • We have limited capacity in our ADA Seating section.

    Please see a member of staff for assistance locating this area.

  • The Festival has a first-come, first-served seating section inside the Concert Meadow for those requiring Senior Seating. There will be no saving seats for guests that are arriving later.

    • Senior Seating Section has bench seating.

    • Guests and one companion are invited to sit in this section.

    • We have limited capacity in our Senior Seating section.

  • Now with increased service!

    Shuttle service is available for seniors and guests requiring ADA accommodations, plus one (1) companion.

    Pickup Locations (Inbound):
    Shuttles to the seating area now run from three locations:

    • 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd

    • Vale Ave & Crestlake Dr

    • 20th Ave & Wawona St

    All inbound shuttles drop off at the Vale Avenue Entrance.

    All outbound shuttles depart from the Vale Avenue Entrance.

    11:00 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Three of our reserved picnic tables are ADA-accessible. When you purchase a table, you will be prompted to indicate if you need it to be accessible. For more information on their location, arrival instructions, and how to purchase please contact: development@sterngrove.org.
